What is Copyright?
Copyright registration pertains to the legal rights held by the owner of intellectual property. In simpler terms, copyright refers to the right to reproduce a work. This means that the original creators of a piece and those they authorize are the only ones with the exclusive right to replicate the work. This article will cover these aspects in detail in the following sections, but for now, let’s focus on the fundamental concept of copyright.
Copyright is the legal and exclusive authority to replicate or grant permission for the reproduction of specific artistic works. If you hold the copyright to something, no one else is allowed to make copies without your consent. Copyright typically originates with the creator of the work, but it can also be sold, traded, or passed down. Copyright registration is a crucial part of intellectual property protection, and we provide copyright services in the UAE, the MENA region, and globally.
